Yard De-Watering System.
Standing water and yard drainage problems often create other problems.
When water is allowed to accumulate close to your home foundation water infiltration and structural problems can and do occur. It is usually less expensive to install a yard drainage system sooner, rather than later to avoid facing expensive foundation issues down the road. Our drainage system is ideal for rainwater run-off, french drains and retaining walls. It is also approved by the state of ohio for septic sytem drainfields.
The Super Flow Drainage System is composed of 10' long sections of 4” perforated drainpipe surrounded by a tough, lightweight geosynthetic aggregate which is then encapsulated with a strong netting. This innovative product requires no stone backfill and greatly reduces installation time and costs. There is less landscaping destruction during installation and much of the the dirt is put back into the trench saving picking up and installing stone backfill. Super Flow will not crush, degrade or breakdow. Many installations have the system include a drywell installation to disperse the collected drainwater. This system has been approved by the State of Ohio.
Dry Well System
A drywell is generally considered a large pit filled with gravel and set in an area where collected water can safely accumulate and slowly leach back into the ground away from the home. This pit has a 2' dirt cap topping off the fill stone and the area can be reseeded after installation. These are generally installed when there is no place to drain away a standing water problem.
